Front and back of a business card I made for myself. Didn't really care what was on it, just a way to spread the contact info, but I colored in a little doodle and used the little viking logo I made earlier. I already used it on an invoice design, so I thought I'd use it again. Should make more of those.

These were also illustrations for the same book. These had to be more realistic and clear because they're supposed to clarify the instructions from the book. I did these in Illustrator.

Well, this should have been number 32 anyway. But I had so much going on lately. Graduating and getting a job for example. And a very interesting offer to illustrate a book on EFT. I had to make 65 of these little illustrations in one day, scan them and get them vectorized. Hell of a job, but fun.

I have a little trouble uploading my pieces, but they're done. I'll try to have a full update online by tomorrow. Here's today's drawing, which I colored with gouache as part of a promise for a friend's birthday. I'll photograph paintings from now on, since I can't get the colors to look right on the scan.

I had an exam today and did some anatomy studies in the afternoon, so there was not much time left for other drawings. But I made this doodle while studying for the exam.

Another vector piece. Played around with the brushstrokes and painted the highlights with the pencil, so it looks a little more dirty than the previous vector. I liked the background on the frog, so I tried it again with this angry dragon.

A little bar scene I did to experiment with coloring. I was too eager to color, so I got a little impatient with the inking as you can clearly see. Left a lot of mistakes in there.
Update: the coloring was going nowhere, so I'll be finishing it later.

Same problem as yesterday. This was done on a large sheet of paper so I had to photograph it. This time, Photoshop wasn't really helpful since the lines are very thin and light. I'll do some research on how to take good pictures of these drawings.

These were quite large so I had to take pictures. The light wasn't good so I played with the levels a bit using Photoshop. It's not perfect, but it's fairly accurate.

I mailed my New Year's card to some friends, but the next day I got some worried phonecalls. People were checking if I was still alive. Since yesterday's card was too gloomy for them, I inked a happier version today.

Today I made this gloomy New Year's card. The text on the bottom could be translated as "a smashing New Year!"
